The Mediterranean island of Cyprus, has sunshine 300 days a year. Like with all of our products, the creation of this sun worshipping elixir, stemmed from our personal need. Prior introducing it to you, it took us some time as usual (2 years) for trials, feedback etc.
 
Our body is our temple and our skin our largest organ. We know by now (and for you being here, reading this, you too), that there is more harm done than good by the chemical infused and commercial sunscreens, such as Oxybenzone, Propylparaben, Retinyl Acetate (Vitamin A Acetate), just to name a few.
 
Yes, prevention of skin cancer is important, yet being afraid of the sun is not. On the contrary we need the Vitamin D it can provide us. Backed up by science as concluded in this 2016 review in the journal Dermato-Endocrinology.

“This review considers the studies that have shown a wide range of health benefits from sun/UV exposure. These benefits include among others various types of cancer, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer disease/dementia, myopia and macular degeneration, diabetes and multiple sclerosis. The message of sun avoidance must be changed to acceptance of non-burning sun exposure sufficient to achieve serum 25(OH)D concentration of 30 ng/mL or higher in the sunny season and the general benefits of UV exposure beyond those of vitamin D. (emphasis added)”
